Buffalo Freedom Fund

The Buffalo Freedom Fund was formed to protect and expand the habitat of native wild buffalo.

Although the numbers of wild buffalo are slowly being restored, two of the main limitations of this are low acceptance of wild buffalo by ranchers in the region and unavailability of land for their expansion. One solution is to protect current herds, while identifying and acquiring more land for the purpose of their expansion.
